A couple years ago I bought a new mossberg 930 jm pro and had nothing but issues with it: short strokes, failures to eject, stop pipes, rounds failing to chamber.

It went back to the mothership and came back "fixed" which didnt actually fix anything. I gave up on it for a while and then stumbled across Or3gun and their shotgun kits.

I purchased a full kit for the 930 which consisted of an adjustible recoil spring plug, heat shield, mag spring follower and an extended bolt release.

Installation was simple and Lord be praised, it fixed all the issues. I set the recoil plug on setting 2 and that seems to run light loaded bird shot as well as full power OO buck. I put quite a few varying loads through it and everything ran including some Freedom Munition rifled slugs. They were surprisingly accurate at 50 yards but the Federal Flight control was really accurate and had less recoil.

Anyway, if yours is not running, this kit is highly recommended

I put an OS3 kit in mine. Zero issues since regardless of shell(s) i have shot through it.
