Part of the nature of clandestine forces is they sort of do their thing quietly for the most part and without any significant pronouncements or advertisements such as "The clandestine forces of Ukraine would like to thank Joe Blow and friends for the donation of several javelin and stinger missiles, launchers, and some ammo. Please also consider donating..."

They're going to keep it on the down-low, lest they be targeted before they can accomplish much. For that matter, even if anyone actually did know, why would they go and blab about it on the interwebs where the Rooskies could be reading about that? Sort of shoddy opsec if that were to get out.

Most of the missile & rocket talk was weeks ago. I agree, less talking about it, just quietly do.

I’m thinking, as important as armament can be, intel is right up there too.

Well, Sir, I think it's time you looked up the meaning of the word 'clandestine'.

One clandestine rumor working its way thru the clandestine network is that Israeli arms dealers are all over Ukraine clandestinely buying up anything they can get their hands on to flip it or send it out of the country. Looking at the map of current tactical interest, Russia has pretty much slammed the door on clandestine shipments from traditional clandestine smuggling ports.

One warehouse with $400 million worth of military supplies was the target of an acknowledged hypermissle attack. Russia obviously has resources on the ground working in the country getting information. Considering Donbass was largely Russian and under extreme oppression the last decade, it wouldn't be hard to get clandestine operatives working thru the rest of the country in Ukraines forces.

Imagine the sort of clandestine havoc somebody played working inside the Azov battalion. And a good clandestine operator can get a lot of information from the locals who are working to supply food and services to a unit. Old news for Viet vets. My dad lost a good watch the morning he was shipping home from Korea - the "house boy" clandestinely slipped it from his wrist while he was sleeping.

Not every citizen in Ukraine is a patriot in the way we think. Some are working to clandestinely free them from being another NATO puppet and having to push the Green New deal as a mandate - which Zelensky just did. Since we understand now that many NATO nations were NOT paying their fair share of the defense burden - Germany was ignoring about 90% of the bill - I would suggest that NATO isn't our friend. It's just another EU organization controlled by interests with little regard to the US other than we pay their bills.

One think the small regional dispute in Ukraine has down is push aside all the other news in the US. When that happens then its been suggested that was the intent - and what other news is being covered up by doing that? What is their nefarious and clandestine purpose?

Spy vs Spy had a reason for making them symbolic of Eastern Europeans. We easily see the message while enjoying the satire.

This thread makes me want to start a drinking game. Do a shot every time I read the word "clandestine".

He'd clandestinely drink a clandestine shot in a clandestine manner.

Or so the "clandestine rumors making their way through the clandestine network" suggest.

That first monkey has the clandestine strategy completely figured out: the first rule of clandestine fight club is you don't talk about clandestine fight club.
