Admittedly, I am far too fond of them, and Cafe Bon Bons, buti think I would like them better, if I could get them hot.

I think using a vacuum insulated glass would help, especially if I preheated it.

Yeah, pre-heating the cups will help. Also using whole condensed milk is a must, and getting a good Vietmanese style coffee and chicory blend is good. Plus, the coffee should be ideally be brewed on the Vietnamese style flip type coffee brewer.
I use a regular french press to brew the coffee-chicory mix, then add sugar and the condensed milk. Yeah, it is too sweet, but I drink Vietnamese coffee only occasionally, and soon after I have it, I test my blood sugar levels, and give myself an insulin shot if it has gone up too much. But, if you are not a diabetic, you dont have to worry about such piddly details. SmileSmile
Happy coffee drinking.
I like making Turkish coffee in a cesve.

If you think you can, YOU WILL!!!!!

I spent a year as a Navy advisor in Viet Nam. The Vietnamese coffee I saw people drink was about a quarter cup of very weak coffee with about six spoons of sugar topped off with three quarters of a cup of milk.

My favorite coffee drink is a nine-shot espresso from Dutch Brothers drank hot and black.

Coffee is an all day event for the Vietnamese.

I just drive up the street from where I work to get the authentic coffee since I work in Chambodia.
