Thanks Arfmel, reviews seem good. Probably go ahead on a set.

Shop gave me three Hankook choices. All looked like good tires. The AT extremes were the best tire and most expensive. But not by a lot so went that route as it has the best winter traction rating.

I’ve had Hankook in the past, on cars. I thought they were ok+, no major issues.
Like many things, it’s no secret why some cost more than others.

I have a set of these on my 2016 4Runner. Put them on in July of 2023. I have about 38k on them since then and they have worn pretty well. Even wear and with regular rotation the wear is still pretty well balanced. I also like to run an AT tire for the better winter traction, and these have the three peak winter rating. I think I paid just around $800 out the door with tax, mounted, balanced and old tire disposal all included. I would run them again.

I've tracked Hankook Rs3 (TW 80) tires for four years. Great tire.

I was a Hankook distributor for years. ran them on many vehicles. I retired and don't keep up with the industry but the last set of Hankook M/Ts I had were terrible. I still constantly look at tires and see a lot of them as OE, a good thing.
