I made the assertion that I think all of the 20+ story condos that line the entire beach from Dade to Palm Beach county helped steer hurricanes further North or away from the tri-county area and that they act like mountainous terrain (which has been proven to steer hurricanes away).

If you look at where the last severe hurricanes hit the Florida East Coast in the past 30 years. It is entirely plausible. The severe ones 3 or better, haven't hit anywhere in the tri county area for over many decades.

It's sad that you have nothing better to do than follow me around on this forum, and look for any post that you could possibly take out of context. Find a hobby. Any hobby, and leave the peanuts out of the gallery. I was told by a mutual friend that the first thing you do on here is search all of my recent posts. Is that true? What person brings up something that was posted 5-10 YEARS ago and is totally unrelated to this thread and meant to sidetrack someone else's thread on a totally different subject? Unbelievable.

Why couldn't 70 miles of beach continuously lined with 400' tall buildings almost the entire way that are built 20-100' apart from each other, have some of these effects, if not even in a minor capacity? It's just a theory and I never said it was fact.

My uncle flew hueys in Vietnam. He wwent on to fly helicopters and planes for thirty years.

One of his first jobs was flying a corperate helicopter for a coal company in Kentucky. He flew to corperate execs into a lake somewhere and ended up having to fly an hour each way to pick up more bait . I forgot what the cost was but it was substantial !
