I'm just taking regular, everyday shirts. Nothing fancy. The mediums barely go to my belt line and the larges just look sloppy on me.

My wife discovered that Eddie Bauer sells medium tall (MT) shirts and spent a ridiculous amount of money on shirts for me. But now I've got everything from there that I'd actually wear.

I just want some pocket Ts or polos in medium tall. Short sleeve button ups are ok, too. Where do you buy them?

Polo factory outlet. You can sign up on their website and they'll send you 25% + off coupons all of the time and they have big and tall section of t-shirts and they come out pretty cheap, $10-15 a piece or even less depending on the sale and the coupon.

Check out Lands End Medium Tall Polo

Medium Tall Tee's

Sale

Also you might have success if when you search to use the word LONG instead of Tall.

I haven't bought from Lands End in many years so I can't necessarily recommend them, you'll have to check them out.

Good luck to you.

Thanks for the tips.

They are not made in America, but Carthart pocket t shirts come in talls.

The farm store here has them on sale ,four times a year.

If you don't stain them , they look very good year after year.

I just gave 30 of them away to charity , I grew out of them.

Geoffrey Beanne and Van Heusen make some really nice tall, long sleeve, collared shirts. (I have an 18" neck, 38" arms, and a 36" waist)

I used to get them at J.C. Penny for around $30 - $40 a shirt with a matching long tie. Not sure if Penny's stool exist anywhere now.

Is it weird that I hate sleeves? I find them terribly uncomfortable. I'll check them out though.

I’ve always bought Eddie Bauer pocket T’s. Lately I have been buying Dickies heavy weights. They are of a slightly thicker material. Not quite as soft but they don’t cling to you either.

I will call the farm store tomorrow, but perhaps the meds
Only come in larger sizes,

Which does not make much sense,
But hey,
It's brick & mortar retail in covid times,
Not a lot makes sense these days

Mine are mostly due to having moved up as a program manager. Don't typically wear a tie (for times in two years?) but I do have them if needed.

It took a few years to figure out my weight ratio and neck size thing, but I'm currently good with Duluth tee shirts. Free shipping, free return-for-different-size. These two work for me. Summer / Winter. I'll buy them during sales / clearance colors.

Men's Spillfighter Trim Fit T-Shirt with Pocket (on clearance but not currently discounted; unknown if they are coming out with new colors or discontinuing the line).

https://www.duluthtrading.com/...th-pocket-68251.html

Men's Longtail T Slim Fit T-Shirt with Pocket - heavy material, not for 90˚ weather unless you like sweating.

Nordstrom sells several varieties of Trim Fit dress shirt. I only one one dress shirt that fits, a Nordstrom Men's Shop Smartcare™ Trim Fit Dress Shirt (SOLD OUT - This item is no longer available. But they have similar items.

I am just a step above you and need Large Tall.
My wardrobe consists of Duluth Longtail, LL Bean, and 3 Fit Theory.

3 Fit Theory are the best of the bunch. They are American made and super soft. Their sales model sucks but I understand why they do it the way they do.

You answer a few questions about your size and how you want the shirt to fit. They send you 3 sizes and whichever one you like best you keep and send the others back. If the other 2 fit in a way you want you can keep them for a little extra money. If you don’t like their fit you return them.
With the initial 3 you have choice of color white or black these are also VERY thin. Good for nothing but an undershirt.
After choosing the proper size you unlock the entire catalog. The entire catalog opens up the options for thicker shirts and different colors as well as V neck options.

The thickest shirt is called the Gladiator and they are great. They are a perfect weight and thickness. They are not thick and stiff like Duluth and just a hair thinner than LL Bean but still softer.

3 Fit Theory claims their shirts will never shrink. I only found them in April but they have yet to shrink or fade.

I have a email I can forward you that will save you $5 off their fitting. Yes, again the business model is stupid. I wish your fitting did not have to be just white or black thin shirts. But I wear a white undershirt everyday so it gets used for that.

Check your email for a link that should save you $5.
Not much but better than nothing.

Be prepared to be underwhelmed with the thickness of the first shirts.

The Gladiator is what you want. I wish you could order the Gladiator from the get go.

Eddie Bauer, LL Bean, and Cabela’s Tall XL or XXL for me.

I’m basically same size as LS1 GTO - except 38” waist, as I carry inside waistband.

I have dress shirts from here: https://customshop.com/shop/ Nordstrom’s used to have a decent selection of dress shirts too.

But business wear has changed significantly over the past 30 years. I rarely wear suit and tie, or even sport coat and tie at this point.

None of the three brands of pocket t shirts that they carry are made in med tall.

Ain't that a kick ?
