May 26th Texas Primary Run-off Election
Today, is the day for Texas. Several key races didn't have 1 person get above 50% so they are in a run-off.

National seats:
  • US Senate (R) - John Cornyn (incumbent) vs Ken Paxton (Trump endorsed)
  • US House (D) - Menefee vs Al Green (brain dead incumbent)

    Here are seats with Texas implications:
  • Texas attorney general: Mayes Middleton and Chip Roy
  • Texas Railroad Commission (aka Texas' oil & gas regulators): Jim Wright (incumbent endorsed by Gov Abbott & Lt Gov Patrick) and Bo French (Ken Paxton endorsed)

    The original primary was awesome in that the following sitting Congressional Critters were kicked to the curb:
  • my Congressional Critter, Crenshaw. 3rd time was the charm trying to primary that snake.
  • Jasmine Crockett


    The polls have been closed barely an hour and NBC is already calling:
  • Paxton the winner
  • Al Green the loser (i.e. Menefee won)


    • Ego is the anesthesia that deadens the pain of stupidity
