I've been using Bing as my home page for a few years now due to some of the great scenic images.

About a week ago I noticed that you could no longer download an image as a wallpaper, there was now an 'app' for it

oddly enough, the app won't run unless you're using W10...

anyone know of any way to downlaod the background image - I tried looking at Page Info and looking for the file name and searching for the image - no luck

What about using the PrtScn print screen button on the keyboard?

Here's the current background --> https://www.bing.com/th?id=OHR...aDigue_1920x1080.jpg

Using Firefox: Page Info --> Media

It's the second item/address listed (the first type: background item). You can then copy/paste into new tab and right click --> 'Save image as...'

Hope this helps! Wink

I see the following on my bing home page.

This appears when mousing over the image name in the lower right corner of the browser. "Morocco in bloom" in this case.

The download icon (downward pointing arrow with line under it) in the top right of the card that appears.
Clicking the icon and the image downloaded just fine.

I am using win 10 and chrome in this case.
What OS and browser are you using?

running W7 on this machine. Hitting that down arrow downloads or tries to install an app, not the image

Was able to download the image using the second link

thanks nhracecraft...

Seems like the OP's issue is Browser and/or AD Blocking / Filter related.

I get the same Download Image/Wallpaper link using Brave, but with Firefox, I have add'l Ad Blocking & Filter Add-ons, and NO Download link.

Regardless, my previous post get's you direct access to the image... Cool

ETA - I'm also running Windows 7...On multiple machines! Wink

Looks like this site captures the images and makes them available for download

Link

Click on desired image. When it loads full screen there is an icon with a cloud and arrow pointing downward at the bottom of the screen. Click it and the image will download. You will have to rename it upon arrival
