Really enjoying this beautiful weather we are having here. Was 93* here today and expected to be 90* tomorrow.
Everything is budding out and growing.

Except for a couple of sub-freezing days, winter has been very mild this year.

Same here in the Yoop. Very little snow. All the big snow events were canceled. Temps in the 40s, which is very unusual for us. Some more seasonal weather and some snow forecasted for mid week but the low 50s by weeks end. Very strange weather. Currently 42 degrees.

Low 80s in Houston today.
As long as it isn't a precursor for a repeat of last year's summer.

Just looked at the weather forecast on my phone and the high for Thursday is expected to be 54*.
Thats an almost 40* temp swing.

^^^ I also hope its not a sign of 110-115* summer days. Those I can do without.

Yes, low nineties would qualify for a mild winter in anyone's book. Razz

Spending my week in Dallas and the weather has been much appreciated. I now want to go home and get the boat ready for summer.

This is where I’m at. I wanted the cool weather to stay longer. Not looking forward to the summer. Three months or more of triple digit heat is one of the things I truly hate about Texas.

I drove through Houston from El Paso to Tampa in June of last year. I've been in some hot weather but last June was some brutal heat and humidity when I stopped. Having lived in El Paso, Louisiana and Florida, I was used to the heat but that was something else.

It's been a very mild winter for us also. 70 on my home thermometer yesterday and my lilacs are starting to bud out.

Different story today! Overcast, windy and 21 degrees with a chance of snow. Similar for tomorrow and then back up into the 50's for Thursday.

These mild temps are nice, but usually go hand in hand with lack of snow and we are in desperate need of moisture.

I am with armfel. Looking like summer is going to be brutal. And it really pains me to say that as I generally come to that conclusion in June not Feb. Roll Eyes

I couldn't agree more. SC is one of only two states that didn't receive any snow this winter. Mad I dread the summer heat and humidity.
