For anyone that's curious, I had enough of FB and YouTube. I closed my FB account months ago and will no longer be posting videos to YouTube. I have opened Parler and Rumble accounts. Stop by for a visit!

I did the move a while back. Looks like I'm follower #1 on Rumble and #3 on Parler

I was on Parler for about a week, but I found too much spam and buggy - site crashing too often.

I opted out. I might try Rumble.

FB is still DOA to me.

Signed up on Rumble this morning already was on Parler.

Never twitted or Fbooked but got on Parler just to see what;s happening not to post anything.
Parler seems a bit clumsy.
SICK of YouTube Nazi format.

Thanks to anyone who follows.

I’m sure Parler and rumble will adapt their formats as membership and traffic increases.

Rumble is the alternative to Utoob.

I'm on all three. All I really do on FB anymore is get advice from an RV page.

The spam thing: Actual spam, or postings you didn't want to see? Parler defaults to showing you a raft of stuff to which you didn't subscribe. You have to click "Subscriptions Only" to stop that stuff. And it doesn't appear to be very "sticky."

Buggy? Yeah, it's buggy. I've yet to have got it to accept a photo upload--even very small photos. The other day it had my browser consuming multiple CPUs and read/writing the drives like there was no tomorrow.

But it ain't Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/YouTube/Google/what-have-you, so...

My 30 Days passed day-before-yesterday. My FB account is now well and truly gone. I miss the cat rescue I love, but I could no longer give FB my custom for any reason. FB truly is De Ebil.

Hmmm, that could be reason my ipad mini kept crashing on Parler. I didn't check the CPU usage.

I just signed up on MeWe and I noticed very few hoops to jump thru on sign up. Their email request instead of phone number is nice.

Parler wants a mobile number for 2FA.

I did this about a month ago. Parler is great for conservative news and personalities. But it lacks the interface I had with lots of friends/acquaintances. But the only real thing I miss about Facebook is the ability to easily sell junk I'm trying to get rid of.

Parler seems more like a replacement for Twitter than a replacement for FB,

MeWe seems like a replacement for Facebook.

Have not signed up for Gab or Rumble.

I agree that the UI for Parler on my phone is clumsy at best but appears to be more useful on my PC.

I follow a few useful pages on FB. They all run a tight ship much like here or I wouldn't belong. I would miss those if I left. Also a lot family member stuff.
However I have almost completely stopped posting myself.

Just joined Rumble, was easy, and used TonyBen as a reference. Thanks!
