Forgot How Much I Liked the Marshall Tucker Band In My Younger Days
My son reintroduced me to them this morning. I listened to them all the time in college usually pulling all nighters to make up for screwing around instead of studying. Brings back very fond memories.

One of my all-time favorite bands. Saw them live, once. It was great! Smile

Yes, they were a great band. Saw them three times and had most of their albums back in the 70s.

We saw them years ago when they toured with Willie Nelson (was never a fan), and Waylon Jennings (Big fan) one Summer.

Classic southern rock. I grew up listening to these guys. Spent many nights sitting around a firepit enjoying their music. 50 years later, I still enjoy sitting beside the firepit listening to their music.

Some of the best. Have every album. My son also enjoys them.

First band I saw live. Well past their prime, but great all the same.

Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here.

Although sometimes distracting, there is often a certain entertainment value to this easy standard.

Awesome band and one of my favorites. Nice down-to-earth people as well.
I grew up in Spartanburg South Carolina and worked at Pizza Inn there as a teenager. Doug Gray (founding member and vocalist) would come in every Friday evening. I always made his pizza, pepperoni with jalapeño peppers. He was just the nicest guy.

I can imagine the smug looks on all the nerdy high school band flute players when Marshall Tucker band & Jethro Tull became famous, and they were suddenly cool.Smile
