I googled, but it was rather unhelpful. Found this guy and a dead sibling after a storm. Found them where we feed the neighborhood feral cats. Maybe they brought them, as we couldn't find a nest. He/she was wiggling in the very cool morning on a brick, so I picked it up and warmed it in my hands. It's now inside in a paper bowl in t-shirt rags for nesting.

Feed it some worms? I'm assuming it's a robin. I dunno. Doubt it will live I suppose. But why not try?

Worms should work. This little one will probably eat one every hour or so.

If you give it the proper care I see no reason why the little guy should not survive.

Years ago Mrs. 'Hook nursed two scrub jay babies until they left the open-top box we used to keep them in. She hand fed them a paste of crushed puppy food and milk until they learned to eat on their own. They learned very quickly what the spoon was for, raising their heads and letting her put a small, insect-sized portion in their open mouths. Don't know if that was the "proper" food to feed baby birds, but it worked.

Seems to be digging watered down wet cat food. I give a few whistles and jostle the bowl, and his whole head opens up to gobble it down!

Bad hair day. But who can blame him after that rough move-in night.

Yes that's a robin. I found one as well but was able to put it back in the nest. Momma found it and continued as if nothing had happened.

We are what we eat. My fear is that he will grow up to be some kind of mutant flying cat that will take over the world.

Or at least eats the cats vs the other way around! Good luck, if you have any kids, have them go dig you some worms to feed him.
Pretty soon he’ll pin and feather out and next thing you know he’ll be following you around the yard, begging.
