I have a Breville and it works well but can be a pain to clean if you use it every day. I always wanted a cold press juicer but never formed out the money for one after getting the Breville.

wcb6092Well you have juicers that take all the pulp out or you have super blender juicers like a Vitamixer that turn the whole fruits and vegetables into a drinkable solution. They are different animals.
Which type are you looking for?

bald1I went through this same "I want a juicer" business in 2005. There was lots of hype about the benefits plus a distant friend had one and pushed me across the line to where I bought a L'Equip 110.5 Juicer. It separates all the pulp from whatever you feed it.
Honestly it did a great job and wasn't too bad for clean up BUT I struggled to get combinations of things that actually tastes at least marginally good. So I never became a "convert."
My suggestion is to actually drink some of the concoctions either at a juice bar who will identify the ingredients or at a friend's who owns one. If you find that the "output" floats your boat then consider plunking down some money for a juicer. I wish I had done that first.

Fruit/veggies in one way, juice out one side, pulp out another.

GWbikerI had a "Juicer", an Omega made in Korea. Damn thing must have weighted about 50lbs and was a royal PITA to clean the pulp. Sold it to replace with a Nutribullet 900 that grinds up everything.

smschulzHad one of the original Jack Lalanne high speed juicer and it worked but they say the better ones are slower and called "cold Press" juicer.
We got a
SKG A10 cold press juicer a while back at the Amazon Days sale and it is a really great one.
Works well, creates some great concoctions and not too hard to clean.
Not the cheapest but well made and got it for around @220 (now $299 I think).
YMMV

phxtoadI have the Breville Juice Fountain Plus. I juice every weekday morning. I just rinse it out daily, with an actual cleaning just once a week.

SigSentryUsed to use it daily but pretty much is collecting dust. Carrot, apple, wheatgrass etc.

83v45magnaMy wife decided we were to be juicer people. We decided the masticating kind was the way to go, and I remain convinced it is. 8 years ago, I bought an
Omega Vertical Low Speed Juicer, 150-Watt. High quality to be sure. We used it for a few months a few times and his has sat idle ever since. Every time I talk about selling it she strenuously objects.
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. -Ecclesiastes 9:11

BeancookerI bought a Hurom H-AA.
I have tried out many different juicers. Omega, breville, some weird bag squeezer juicer, the Jack Lelane, this is far superior to anything I have tried.
The Hurom is a slow extraction which makes much better juice than the centrifugal extractors.
It is really easy to clean.
It juices most things very efficiently and leaves rather dry pulp.
It doesn’t clog.
It is a true workhorse. It’ll juice anything I have thrown at it.
All in all I have no complaints. It has lasted a couple years now and we use it almost daily.
The only downside is the price. It has easily paid for itself by now, but the original ticket was hard to swallow. You can find them for 25% off around mist holidays though.

mark_apulpless juice drinks spike your blood sugar level. If that is not a concern then there are several listed.
If it is a concern I would go with a vitamix...

DaBigBRThe only correct Sig Forum answer would be to get a WASTE KANG and convert it into a juicer.

Now THAT is funny.

Blood sugar is not an issue I deal with , thankfully.
Also, thanks for the info, folks. This will take some digestion. (See what I did there?)

apprenticeHaving no dog in this hunt, I'm just here to ask why no pulp?
Because isn't that where a gob of nutrients and fiber live?

From what I understand, maximum nutrient, minimum filler.
The pulp will go to the chickens/goats/sheep/critters

That's one reason why I bought the Nutribullet. it grinds up juice AND pulp for a great drink. IMO, much easier to clean, too.
