DRONEBUSTERS!:

The US military is sending counter-drone systems to New Jersey bases. Here's how the Dronebuster works.

The nuclear material seems to have been lost on Dec 2. It's the size of the pointy part of an ice pick and is apparently used to calibrate PET scan machines. Link. I sincerely doubt anyone is using radiation sniffing drones to find this, but it makes great fodder for the clicks on the internet.

That's the quasi-official story they are circulating. Doesn't wash.

There’s only one answer. They know exactly what they are because they are our drones.

This is exactly how I feel. How could this many drones, in this many locations, over such a period of time, be a complete mystery to the US Government if it wasn’t our own drones doing something and they just don’t want to say what it is? Anything the size of some of these would be easily tracked and probably cause jets to be scrambled going over military targets. Maybe I am off target as I have not been reading everything about this, but it all seems odd.

Rand Paul blocks bill to authorize local, state authorities to track drones

From The Hill article:

Sen. Rand Paul:

“This body must not rush to grant sweeping surveillance powers without proper consideration and debate by the committees of jurisdiction”

“Why don’t we actually get to the truth of the matter of what actually exists and what the threat is before we propose legislation?”

In other news, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection said drones were not used to find the missing FedEx shipment:

Additionally, the NJDEP said drones were not used to locate the radioactive material in question..

And the FAA has closed a lot of air space over New Jersey just because. It’s only up to 400’, so real pilots are still good to go.

FAA bans drones in parts of NJ, notice threatens 'deadly force' for 'imminent security threat'
From the article:

“…the Federal Aviation Administration has now issued temporary flying restrictions (TFR) in multiple cities across New Jersey, including several locations in our area, due to "special security reasons."“

So now our government is going to use our military to shoot down our drones rather than simply tell us why our drones are flying over our country.

Government logic at it's best!

I find many of the YouTube videos being posted as quite humorous. Yeah, something may be "happening", but the drama from YouTube channels stirring the hysteria amuses me for some reason. Here is one such video...

Edit: Here's another one. Some of the videos raise some questions, but the drama over it from the presenter is too funny!

I think they are gunning for the fat man himself.

Create all sorts of new "No fly" areas, prepositioning military assets along the flight path, pre-planned cover story about "drones". Doesn’t take much to connect the red and green dots here.

They're gonna take out Santa Claus.

China Expert Has a Very Unsettling Take on the Drone Incursions

The feds insist there is nothing nefarious about these drones buzzing over the skies of New Jersey and other East Coast states, and Democrat lawmakers appeared to be convinced by the answers they received about the unusual sightings during a classified briefing this week. Many others aren’t, however. Ahead of that closed-door meeting, Rep. Michael McCaul said he believes at least some of the UAS are Chinese spy drones, given their documented sightings over military bases.

“My judgment based on my experience is that those that are over our military sites are adversarial and most likely are coming from the People’s Republic of China,” he said.

He is not alone in that belief.

Speaking to Fox’s Maria Bartiromo, Gatestone Institute senior fellow and China expert Gordon Chang said he believed many if not most are from the PRC.

“You know, the increased tempo of these drone flights against our military bases is occurring at the same time as there’s increased frequency of incursions and attempted incursions by Chinese and other nationals,” he said. “Really what is occurring here is that they are preparing to attack the United States from American soil. I don't know why we need an engraved invitation from Beijing. It's clear what’s going to happen. We are going to get hit and we’re not taking the necessary precautions to protect these bases and to protect the American people.”

I saw an article that claimed that the drones were looking for radiation, and that the proof of this is that New York has high background radiation.

Drones in New Jersey are looking for the radiation that is easily found in New York...

If that is true, then it's definitely a government-run operation.

This is the UFO that landed in the 60's:

On December 21, 1964, Horace Burns claimed to have seen a UFO land in a field near Fishersville, Virginia, while driving from Staunton to Waynesboro:

The sighting
Burns said he saw a metallic, beehive-shaped object that was 125 feet in diameter and 80–90 feet tall. He said it landed in a field to his right after he pulled over when his car stopped. He watched it for 60–90 seconds before it rose up and flew away.

The aftermath
Burns told his wife and contacted an extraterrestrial club at Eastern Mennonite College. The club's president, Ernest Gehman, drove to the landing area and used a Geiger counter to claim he found heavy radioactivity. Gehman contacted Project Blue Book at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, who sent investigators to the area.

The panic
The sighting sparked a panic in the area, with more people reporting strange sightings in the sky. A preacher in Augusta County said the sightings were a sign of the apocalypse.

I'm just reporting what I remember back then and remember the burnt grass in the field that you could see from the highway.
