I do prefer Robert Powell. I find Peter Coyote annoying. What others are good?

parabellumWorst? I wouldn't hazard a guess, but the late David Ogden Stiers was a great narrator, and I like Liev Schreiber as well.
Coyote has a great voice for narration. It's just his well-known leftist politics that chafes me.

topherhBest is Mike Rowe for me hands down

The key to enforcement is to punish the violator, not an inanimate object. The punishment of inanimate objects for the commission of a crime or carelessness is an affront to stupidity.

P220 SmudgeI want to say I’ve watched a few that Morgan Freeman narrated that I thought he did a great job with.
*Edit - Yep, he did several documentaries on various animals I’ve watched with my little man. We really enjoyed the one about the lemurs of Madagascar.

I sometimes play the BBC documentaries in the background just to listen without watching. Especially Blue Planet.

83v45magnaI'm surprised to see David Mccullough not mentioned yet. I also thought Keith David did a great job narrating "The War".
I also like the aforementioned:
Will Lyman
David Ogden Stiers
Peter Coyote
David Attenborough
Love Mike Rowe but I've find that, liking the person, a bit distracting in a narration.
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all. -Ecclesiastes 9:11

mrbill345The best in no particular order:
Mike Rowe
David McCullough
David Attenborough

The name didn't come to me right away, but, yes, he is who I immediately thought of.
