mjlennonComputer audio gave up after a Windows update - Solved
Of course the first degree of blame is always leveled at Microsoft; I'm no different. I reckon the Windows update was merely a coincidence, sort of. I tried reinstalling drivers and rolling backup updates. Even restored from previous setpoint. Nothing.
The power did go out today, causing the PC to reboot and subsequent Windows update. However, it also caused an ipad to reconnect to bluetooth audio device, in this case the Klipsch 2.1 connected to this PC. Disconnected the ipad bluetooth, PC playing the Braves-Phillies game like nobody's business.
I don't know why the ipad connected to that device though. I never use those speakers on ipad.

Scooter123Probably an update to your Ipad. See, you can always blame a computer software provider. They constantly do these updates to introduce new "bugs" into your operating system.

Rey HRHmjlennon this has happened to me. Laptop speakers stopped working which wouldn't be a big thing except it also makes a screenshot saver (Snagit) crash when I do a panoramic scroll.
So, how did you know if something is connected to your computer? I'm thinking this may also be my problem.
