John Stossel: Good guy with a gun theory, Hollywood and the left says its fantasy or is it reality
Actually an interesting video on how Hollywood is trying to change the way guns are portrayed in movies and shows, the deeply held relationship between the Brandy Group and writers, as well as the FBI's flawed statistics.
Wow, my Village employs 61 good guys with guns. With pensions and insurance. I’m gonna save the village a ton of cash when I inform them that they aren’t needed. Hell my taxes might even drop!

(I didn't watch the video, figuring it was nothing I didn't already know.)
Leftists like to play with statistics to distort the truth lie. They focus only on the number of criminals killed by the good guys and try to tell you it almost never happens, so what do you need a gun for? That number is relatively low, but they don't count the incidents where the criminal was shot and wounded and was held for the police; shot and wounded and fled, often to be apprehended later (e.g., when they sought medical treatment); shot at, missed and fled the scene; held for police with no shots fired; fled at the mere sight of the gun, also with no shots fired. Include those in the stats and the number of defensive gun usages goes way up.This message has been edited. Last edited by: egregore,

WE the forum members know this, however the volume of positive outcomes of an armed private citizen is minimized and waved off as insignificant by large media and the 'culture commentators'. At the very least, continued examples and featuring by non-MSM sources is the only way to bring continued understand of this. Same scenario for issues of government fraud, odd voting patterns and questionable language in laws.

Anecdotal perhaps, but I found myself watching a series recently. I started it a couple years ago and was finishing up season 4 when I realized they are portraying the villains as republicans and the good guys as “antifa, liberals, lgbtq, etc”.
I was thinking to myself, “shit, I thought I was just watching a stupid action show. This shit has ulterior motives”
It’s everywhere.

All BS right Until a random guy with a gun hammers a church shooter or shopping mall shooting saving untold dozens. I’ll continue to ccw just in case.

I don't know. I need to hear the expert opinions of Alec Baldwin and Liam Neeson before I can make up my mind.
