Sam Brinton Our Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Office of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition in the U.S. Department of Energy Charged With Stealing..
^^^ He had a warrant for his arrest; “fugitive from justice” would include this all the way through actively avoiding capture.

I have leftists in my family. This is one of the few alphabet people that my leftist people don't get furious when you mention mental illness. He's only mentally ill because he steals luggage and clothing. All of his other behavior is ok to my leftists. Anyway, I think this dude would enjoy prison, so let's give him an all expense paid vacation to "insert prison name here".
In jail with no bond. Finally, some actual justice. Even if it's a very short time, this is justice. He's been an agitator and troublemaker for a long time, and to hear that he's not just prancing out of a courtroom after getting a fine or suspended sentence is immensely gratifying.

Fox News is reporting this story in what appears to be his "preferred pronouns".
Here's the last paragraph of the article, what I am referring to;
"Brinton was arrested at approximately 10 p.m. last night in their home on College Parkway," Goff added. " They are being held in the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit on a no-bond status as they await an extradition hearing. That’s all of the information we have on our end."

"They" are in the hoosegow, and that is all that matters.

Maryland records show the charge was "Fugitive From Justice - VA" Code 8888
I believe that means Virginia had a fugitive warrant for Brinton. Brinton lives in Maryland.
“They are being held at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit on a no-bond status as they await an extradition hearing,” an MCPD spokesperson explained.
from the Fox story,
"The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police are lead on this." Perhaps that is related to Dulles airport in VirginiaThis message has been edited. Last edited by: sdy, May 18, 2023 02:50 PM

Since he is in the men's lockup, it sounds like he's binary now.

Must have not followed the directions of the court.
"Montgomery County Police assisted in the arrest of Sam Brinton," Shiera Goff, a Montgomery County Police Department spokesperson, told Fox News Digital. "The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police are lead on this."
MWAA must have found additional cases of theft.
From political darling to common criminal.

Brinton did not have a lawyer or any supporters or press, other than The Daily Wire, at the hearing. A public defender spoke for him temporarily, despite his not being eligible for a public defender because of his income. He was wearing a blue jail jumpsuit and a mask.

Del Pino said “I will deny the request to turn himself in. Virginia will pick him up. Good luck in Virginia, Mr. Brinton.”

Priceless
This is great.

I always suspected he was a serial thief when he was first caught; his demeanor and casual manner suggested that it wasn’t the first time. I’d love to see a few more charges stack up and keep tapping in those coffin nails.

I think we are starting to see the underside of the iceberg with him.

This is the character who also cosplayed as a dog. Throw him in the pound and if no one gives him a forever home, well....
