I can't even remember the last passenger vehicle I had, that had an oil pressure gauge.
I've never had one that didn't have an oil pressure gauge before I bought my 2021 Bronco. It's the first.

The more recent vehicles all seem to have gas and coolant temperature gauges, but just warning lights for battery charging system (ammeter or voltmeter) and oil pressure.

GeorgeairI'm in the start it, pull out of garage and sit for 15-30 seconds while door closes and I get belt/glasses/podcast/etc situated.
No oil pressure but two cars have oil temp which IMHO is much more useful but even more rare these days. Driven gently until temp is up to max, or pretty close to it.

slyguyStart, listen for engine pressure and rpm's to stabilize and off. No real 'warm up' time.
Not needed on non-carbureted vehicles.
Cheers~

YooperSigsMy Charger has the full compliment of all the gauges. Including Tran and Air Intake temp.
But I have to get them to display by accessing an app on the dash screen.

Upper Peninsula: 4 Miles

I'm still driving those cars.

SeaCliffStart, seatbelt, sunroof and reverse and wait for seconds till camera kicks in and normal backing out in battery mode till engine kicks in. Normally by time garage door is closing.

RB211Depends -
In warm weather, long enough to get my seatbelt on and verify oil pressure.
Winter, the Jeep has remote start, but that is more to get the heater working. In the Vette, long enough to verify oil pressure and to stop my teeth from chattering from my ass sitting on cold leather (no butt-warmers - yet)

DonDraper30 seconds or so tops, and then stab it and steer. I will wait until the oil temp is over 150~160F before giving it the beans.

ChowserThe usual. Start car. Buckle belt. Shades. Then back out of the garage. No hard acceleration for the first mile. Which is fine since it takes awhile to get anywhere that is faster than 25mph.
My daughter’s car had a cold car icon. It goes away after a mile. She can’t get up to speed anywhere within a mile of home.
They’re both 4 cyl turbo cars. Her’s is a 2020 Subaru Impreza and mine is a 2019 BMW X2 M35i.
