Just read about them in the local news feed.

Besides the overwhelming reigning idiocy and the political changes over time, what is the difference between these and the Google glasses?
Am technologically enclined but to far geographically and politically removed to have access to these gizmos.

Because it’s Facebook you’ll have people dying to wear them as a status symbol and a display of their loyalty to his Highness Zuckerputz.

What could possibly go wrong?

Yeah... that'd be a hard pass from me.

Stream of consciousness: When I first saw this announcement my mind went immediately to Fakebook's habit of cancelling anything it feels is false, misleading, or would hurt the tender sensibilities of snowflakes, and was reminded of this:

quote:

“Joo Janta 200 Super-Chromatic Peril Sensitive Sunglasses have been specially designed to help people develop a relaxed attitude to danger. At the first hint of trouble, they turn totally black and thus prevent you from seeing anything that might alarm you.” -- Douglas Adams, Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy: The Restaurant At The End Of The Universe

"America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system,,,, but too early to shoot the bastards." -- Claire Wolfe
"If we let things terrify us, life will not be worth living." -- Seneca the Younger, Roman Stoic philosopher
