I wanted an eyeglass retainer, to let my workspace glasses dangle from my neck when I got up from the desk to walk around.
I was specifically looking for something made in the U.S.A., and I found this.
Unfortunately, the description was not clear about the length, and it turns out that this item is not what I was looking for.
This is too short to let the glasses dangle. It's a retainer that goes around the back of your head to keep the glasses if you're doing something active, like boating, or riding a roller coaster, etc.
Every older female librarian seems to have a pair. Ask them on your next visit.

Please Count me in. I just lost a $300 pair of Costa Del Sol sunglasses somewhere off the coast of Seaside while striper fishing.
