You may not recognize the name, but you will know many of the hit songs he co-wrote with Classics IV in the 1960s: Stormy, Spooky, Traces. And also with Atlanta Rhythm Section in the 1970s: Champagne Jam,et al. He also wrote/co-wrote hit songs for others during that time. He was 75 years old.
