Back in the day I was also five foot eight and wore a size 8 combat boot. Had to rush over to their website to see which album liner had the note about their shoe size; and found this. October 20, they are marking their 50th anniversary with a boxed set release.

I used to get a kick out of the off ramp sign on the highway near us when I was growing up, maybe 1979-1983 timeframe; it said “DEVON ——->” white letters on green sign but someone had taken green spray paint and sprayed out the N so it said DEVO
