Timely! I'll take a look and tag this for comments.

I'm looking at Made In.

I have SS, CI and CS pans. I am buying a non-stick this time for cooking things contraindicated for the former types.

I'd be particularly interested in where made. Made in prc is out for me.

ETA: made in prc. Out for me.... I'm probably gonna go w/ Made In.

I have a couple of Made In pieces that I have been happy with. I plan on getting some more soon. They frequently run promotions with as much as a 30% discount.

I have one Hexclad. Not getting any more.

Eggs stick to it like crazy, unless you use like 2 TBSP of butter. It's not a non-stick pan.

I only use it for burgers since everything else sticks to it.

Way too expensive for what it is.

We had one and returned it as defective. It’s trash.

I have no experience with this Pampered Chef pan, but it looked to be a nice, slick pan.

Links will not work from their site. It's the SS non stick pan with the gray box patterned bottom.

Anyone have experience with it, or is it just another version of the hexclad pan?

Edit to add:
Ya gotta love this reply to a review...

Well, is it a lifetime or a one year warranty? What a crock of shit response!

I got the Made In. Seems good. We’ll see how long it lasts. It’s a little lighter than expected for 5 ply. But I thought it was going to be 3 ply. Anyway, so far so good. Seemed to heat up evenly.

Here is a photo of Made In's construction. I had a hard time finding it myself. Their 12" non-stick skillet runs about $120, but their sets seem to be reasonably prices for the quality and they are made in Italy, NOT China.

I watched review on YouTube of Hex Clad $130 and Granite Rock $30, 12" non-stick skillets and both help up about the same. However, Granite Rock is NOT metal utensil safe. The Hex Clad did hold up to that very well, but the metal dots that show thru their non-stick coating discolor after several uses are are VERY HARD to remove that discoloration. It can be done, but takes steel wool and a lot of elbow grease.

Made In recommends NOT using cooking spray of any kind as it tends to damage non-stick surfaces because it burns at a lower temp. They recommended using butter, avocado oil, etc. instead of cooking spray.

I recently subscribed to All-Clad's email list so I could find their factory sales on blems which includes damaged packaging. They just had one this week for two days only and the deals were great. I bought various pans from the D3, Non Stick and the Copper Clad series. Retired some older Calphalon. Very pleased.

I've had a set of Lynn's 18/10 stainless steel cookware for years. I recently picked up a new 8" copper-coated egg pan for a good price (Cupertino). Egg whites react uniquely with copper. I guess carbon steel is the new thing now. Finding deals on All-Clad or Farberware Millennium is nice.

Haven't tried them but we found something very good at a cabin stay this summer. My wife used this pan and upon our return ordered the entire set.
