TMatsHurricane Isaias
I’ve been communicating with a friend who lives directly east of Pensacola at Navarre. He said they “got hit with 115+ mph in what is called a Jet Sting wind event. We are safe and with only a broken screen door, and have no power still, [as of Sunday, October 11] I’ve heard it should be back on tomorrow [today]. The area had significant damage, but it could have been a lot worse. Thank God!”

navyshooterI'm in Midway. The road going to my house from SR 98 had at least 100 trees down on it. Power lines are on the ground/across the road for 2 miles. Still no power here and my guess it will be another day or 2 until it's restored.
My house had minimal roof damage, some houses in my community lost all their shingles and every fence is down.

HerkdriverI am in SE AL. We got hit pretty good. Not as bad as Michal but still a good wallop. No damage to houses of my immediate family but a few near misses from falling trees. There was a fair amount of trees down on roads and power lines in the area. I was out of power for about 36 hours, most of my family got their power back around noon today. I do have a mess to clean up on the farm, have about 4 large trees down on my main working pen fences. The cows are all ok, just gonna take a bit of work and $ to get things square again.
Thankfully, we made out ok here. I hope everyone else is doing as well.
