My pup, Greta has gone over the bridge. Rest easy sweet girl.
She’s 13. We spent the winter in the desert. About 3 weeks ago she started coughing. X-ray showed 3 nodules in her right lung. Radiologist said it doesn’t look like cancer and ordered a fungal blood test which she had 3 days ago. 3-8 days for the results to come back.
In the mean time she is suffering with this cough. It’s brutal to see. Vet is putting her on steroids today to make her more comfortable. We had to wait on the steroids until she got the Rimadyl out of her system.
The anti-fungal is ketoconazole.
Please send good thoughts for my girl.

My daughters dog has had it for around the last ten years. As long as she takes her meds you would never know she has a problem. For her meds she does an online pharmacy and it is pretty cheap.
