Recommendation For a Reading Lamp
My eyes are getting older and I am in need of better lighting to read by, so I am seeking recommendation for a good reading table lamp.

I recently bought a new desk top reading lamp at Office Depot, it's LED and I can't stand it. It's hard on the eyes, bad glare, wrong color temp or something, not sure how exactly to describe it.

I'm going to look for an older one, maybe an antique store, and it's a good thing I have a good stockpile of the regular old fashioned incandescents.

Not a table lamp, but two work weeks on a charge and adjustable color temperature and brightness. I'm thinking of getting one. If you are set on a table lamp you will probably be getting an LED. Be sure the color temperature is warmer, 4000-3000K.

Take a look at the Ottlite lamps (aka "Ott lamps") that people use to do close handwork.

My wife has several of them (various models) for her needle work and she swears by them. They use good quality color-balanced LED bulbs and are well made.

Thanks . I went to their website and found a lamp that should fit the bill.
