Is your Sam's that crowded that you need special hours? The one by us busy but I've never had more that two (usually one) checker-outers ahead of me and I don't get the elbow treatment at any of the counters nor am I run over by overly aggressive cart pushers.

And a thing on Sam's gas. they will not disclose the grade which suggests to me it's not top tier. Maybe I'm overthinking the gas grade thing, but I I take pretty good care of our vehicles and don't skimp on cheap gas.

Crowded or not, it is worth avoiding the general public that shops at Sams. Costco clientele seem slightly more middle class and the employees are much better. I have both memberships, but had only Costco for 20 years. Sams is Walmart meets Dollar General near me. Costco is more upscale third world.

Yes, they get busy just as the store opens for the general membership. My Sam's is staffed with great people.

Bring back the Polish Dog and the onion dispenser. I'll even pay .25 more per Polish Dog/soda for it.

Frankly, l'll even pay .25 more if you bring back the Combo Pizza slice and Soda.

Sauerkraut for the hot dogs. A hot dog without sauerkraut is like a BLT without bacon.
