I always wanted to buy one of those red hats with “Make America do that sound from down with the sickness again” written on the front. Big Grin

There are other examples of red hats like “Make America Skate Again” and I’ve read many stories about people wearing them and variants like them talk about encounters similar to Maxdog’s.

I don't generally wear political clothing out in public or have any firearm or political stickers on vehicles...smallish town. And we do sometimes grab a bite to eat when out and about.

I'm kind of a 'car guy'...nothing fancy/expensive, but wash/wax/take care of what we have. I appreciate a 10+ year old car that still looks clean and sharp (as I'm well acquainted with the effort required).

The last headache I need is some coward libiot getting their jollies destroying years of elbow grease/proactive maintenance in a few seconds by keying/tagging my the vehicle because they feel entitled to do so.

Same with someone screwing with our food at a restaurant.

And shooting/NRA stickers are an invitation to 'firearms in this vehicle/house.' Once again, something I don't advertise. And don't need a Karen feeling all 'threatened' because I didn't signal enough to her liking before safely making a lane change.

But when around the house/yard, I've been known to throw on a red hat. I've also carried a couple different hats in the car, and swapped out accordingly based on the destination/activity.

$.02 worth.

I am in Commiefornia, the place is littered with sheep. They try to shove their opinions down my throat whenever possible. I often tell them not to believe the propaganda.

I would wear a shirt or hat, but around here the idiots would key my car, etc. All their attitude acomplishes is to bolster my opinion and hatred toward those that control the democratic flock.

I generally try to avoid trouble Big Grin. much like some others here have expressed. Besides, I doubt a Trump hat or whatever is changing anyones vote and I am not good at debating. I did and will again have a Trump sign in my yard prior to the election... and I do have my one-off Deplorable shirt that I had made that I like. I do often make a quick comment, or thumbs up to someone who is wearing Trump.

I generally don't wear anything that attracts assholes but I'd wear that Biden 2020 'Cone' shirt all day long.

If I wear a ballcap in summer, I wear a swag BCM cap that I got from a karma here from someone that already had one I think. Most people that see it probably don't have the 1st clue what BCM does. Those that do know are likely 2A friendly. It is a medium light foliage green with even lighter, sort of khaki lettering so is very low contrast.

I also have an extremely brilliant red Texas Rangers official cap that I should probably wear between now and the election, just to see how many rabid leftists might be about.

Lots of thumbs up, smiles, 'That's AWESOMEs', numerous people wanting to take pictures, and of course a whole lot of 'Trump 2020s' and 'Keep America Great' refrains! Big Grin

GREAT pic!

Gunstock Ski Resort?

Yup, Gunstock, and the trail was appropriately named 'Trigger' Wink

That said, we were a pretty underwhelmed with that mountain....NO Real Steeps there! We do most of our skiing/snowboarding at Cannon Mountain and Bretton Woods! Cool

ETA: Quoting the whole post because it's such an AWESOME Pic! Big Grin

If I put anything conservative or pro constitutional anything, my vehicle would be continually damanged until I removed said signage. There are LOTS of closet progressives, and wide open 110% anti everything, that I would have to drive a junker before I could put anyting on a car.

I won’t wear any Trump swag, nor will my car.
I did just receive the “Stop the Madness” t-shirt I ordered from Amazon.
Let people make of it what they will.

I have a "Liberalism find a cure" T-shirt. I get mostly like your shirt comments, but one "Karen" got in my face and said that shirt isn't funny. I said no it really is not, if fact it is the biggest problem we have in this country today. You try not to worry, we have people working night and day trying to find a cure for you poor people, and until then I'll be praying for you.
For some reason, she didn't think that was funny either.

Slight thread drift. Plan a ski trip to Utah. We've got a lot of "steeps" and you'll be welcomed with open arms if your son wears that outfit. I promise!

I wear a MAGA hat sometimes.

I get the whole grey man thing but I’m too old to give a fuck about staying silent. And I think that sometimes conservatives can be too conservative and that we are losing the fight because of it. I don’t put stickers on my truck because I don’t want it vandalized when I’m not around and I don’t wear the hat when I’m with my kids because I do recognize there is a possibility of danger but when I’m alone I wear it. I’m done being silent about my beliefs and I’m happy to let others know they aren’t alone.

I’ve never had a negative or positive reaction to the hat.

I typically wear Hawaiian shirts. I recently heard that Hawaiian shirts are now secret code for "Right Wing Nut Job".

Sometimes I wear a black MAGA hat.

When I want to infiltrate the enemy camp, I wear a CNN hat.

I prefer my car bumper stickers to be obscure. For example, I used to have one that said, "Carthago Delenda Est".

I have a buddy that has a fun prank he likes to pull. If he spots a car with lots of liberal stickers on it he has a number of Trump stickers which he will add one to the back of their car. Would love to see the reaction when its discovered.

I don't have any Trump gear, but my son has a really nice Trump hoodie that gets compliments.
He's a 19 yr old Marine, so confrontations would probably be welcomed lol.
I got us both "Aloha SnackBar" shirts, the only people that get the joke are usually amused.

I just went through NY state. Oswego, NY to Troy, NY and then down the Hudson river to NYC (and beyond). Stopped in Oswego, Sylvan Beach, St. Johnsonville, and Albany each for a night. All of those places had extremely nice people and there were Trump flags and clothing everywhere, definately Trump country. What pisses me off is one city (NYC) is so heavily populated and so totally different (DEM) and they steer the vote for the entire State, when most of the people outside of that one city are totally different with totally different views.

As for me, I'm a Trump supporter but don't need/want any negative attention from flying a flag, or showing support, same with putting firearm stickers on my car or anything else. However, my neighbor across the street is a legal immigrant from a Socialist Eastern European country and came here because of that and is flying a big Biden flag in his yard and it infuriates me everytime I see it.

I assume this has been discussed in the Forum before, but the dramatic differences in the supporters of the two political parties has been reinforced in me repeatedly.

A Democrat or Independent who supports Biden/Harris, or Clinton, or Obama...can put Party stickers (and other left-wing nonsense) all over their car, drive to rural Wyoming, or Texas, or any other red county in America, and not worry for a minute that their car will be vandalized in any way. The reverse is not true.
