Seeing everyones reviews of these, I'm seriously considering them for my f250 when I need to replace the OEM tire. I put Duratracks on my last truck and I was pretty pleased with them (although they were louder than I thought they should've been for how aggressive they were). I was going to put them on my new rig, but I'm second guessing that now... "I have a high art; I hurt with cruelty those who would damage me." -- Archilocus, 650 B.C.

I am about 6 months into these tires and I could not be happier. I have not had them in snow but been out in everything else. Off road, heavy rain, light rain, serious mud, gravel, water crossings. These tires clean themselves very well of gravel and mud. I went from a P class C Load rating to an LT class E load rating. These tires are louder with the windows down compared to the old but not very noticeable. Windows up and radio on I can’t hear them. They’ll be going on my 2000 Silverado Z71 here eventually. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. I currently have a set of Goodyear Duratrac's on my '03 4Runner (~55K on them), and knowing that I would need new tires I took note of this thread when it started back in March. I thought the Duratrac's were incredible, especially in fresh snow / winter conditions, but after researching the Falken's I was able to ascertain that they are almost on par with the GY's and maybe a little bit better with less noise and wet road handling. From local tire shops the GY's were about $845 OTD and the Falken's about $555 OTD. I actually called the shop yesterday to order the Falken's and they called me today to let me know that they are in. I have had them on my Grand Cherokee since January. Very pleased with them. They are a little louder than the stock tire, but it isn't terrible. They do great in the snow, wet, and on muddy gravel roads.

I got a new truck a few months ago and I already see replacement tires in my future. I dont think the Bridgestone HL are going to cut it. I already noticed reduced traction in the rain and on wet roadlines. Cant wait to see what this winter holds. I see another set of AT3 in my future.

I bought mine on Amazon and had my local independent Honda mechanic install them. Tires were $111 each + tax for 245/65R17 111T. $476 delivered. Install & balance was $80 and I sold my decent Michelin LTX take offs for $80 on CL. ________________________ God spelled backwards is dog

Recently installed the Falkens. I’ve put a couple thousand on them commuting, and another couple thousand in a trip to CO. At first they felt squirmy, either I’ve changed or they have as I don’t notice that so much. I did increase the air pressure to 38psi from 34. Much quieter than they look like they will be. The three others I hunted with commented on how quiet they were for as aggressive a tread as they have. I was very pleased to find I didn’t take a big hit in fuel economy. Perhaps a half mpg compared to the stock Goodyear’s Ford put on my ‘16 F-150. I’m very pleased, Ice fishing season will be the final test. ----------The weather is here I wish you were beautiful----------

I put a set on a Jeep Wrangler 2 door 4WD before last winter. Very happy with the snow traction performance. Mine have been great in all but heavy, heavy rain. Lots of road construction going on on my 35 minute work commute leading to standing water cross flow due to poor drainage. Maybe it is because of the Jeep’s short wheelbase. I don’t know. All of the rain reviews were good to great. Mine are are a handful or I am not as good of driver as I thought. Maybe this is a one-off or aberration of some nature. I have also been very impressed with the tread wear thus far.

Did you increase your load rating compared to your old tires? I went from a C to an E and the off-road shop who mounted them set them at 50 psi compared to factory PSI (I also went with a larger tire) 50 about rattled my teeth out and dropped it to 45 psi and it is just right. Last tire rotation I forgot to mention to inflate to 45. I was driving and felt the back end was a little sloppy. Checked my pressures and they were at 39. Put in 6 psi and was right as rain again. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have.
