Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

The ad was considerably better than the product.

Is this the ad that is now playing in the Hill country market? I bet it comes on right after the Winston commercial featuring Barney Rubble. And now back to Gunsmoke.

Stan Freberg ads were always better than the product, and usually better than the program.

I was reminded of these when I read about one of his ads for Chun King Chow Mein being healthy, 9 out of 10 doctors. The camera pulls back to show 10 doctors in white coats, 9 of them visibly Chinese, 1 caucasian.

These pizza rolls are decent if you can find the magic cooking time between popsicle and molten lava. Never comes out right. Most times I get squirted with molten lava.

I remember seeing the Jeno's plant in Duluth back in the early 80's.

Cook till a few explode their cheesy molten innerds, remove from the oven and let them rest, like a fine piece of beef, and then you can enjoy them with out raising blisters on your tongue and the roof of your mouth.
Unfortunately anytime I seem to think Za rolls are a good call I am often a bit inebriated and I forget and again- the mouth burn.
And yet I keep buying them at the store.
A mystery.

^^ THIS ^^

Jeno's Pizza Rolls are to pizza much like inverted boneless pork rectums (aka McDonald's McRib) are to ribs.

One of the better late night snacks IMO. 8-10 minutes at 425 (or until one of them leaks) and you're good to go.
