I like the gun I just don’t get why the extended magazine. I think it destroys the lines of the gun. I understand that the actual M17 has an extended mag but it wouldn’t be much of a change to exclude it.

I thought that was so it would carry 21 rounds. I believe 21 is the number of steps the take, and so on.

Aluminum frames (grip modules, actually).

The serialized frame of the P320 is the U-shaped stainless steel insert that fits into the grip module and holds the trigger, sear assembly, et al.

Not that I’ve seen.

As soon as they were announced there was speculation by people who were more concerned about that possibility than SIG’s gesture that the greedy capitalists there would offer some for sale just like the P226s with Navy anchors, but it has not yet come about to my knowledge.
