My Slik MiniPro V broke & I ordered new parts. I did not know they had had gone to Chinese shit quality. The tripod did not work well anyhow as the attachment was off center. Into the trash it went. Need $30 tabletop tripod for bench use. Suggestions? __________________________________________________ If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit! Sigs Owned - A Bunch

I bought an Opticron Bipod for a large ZEISS spotting scope. It is very stable and more compact on the bench than a tripod. I use it while shooting open sight bench rest and the absence of that third leg is an advantage to me. I can slide it closer to the rifle. it also easily folds for storage. It is all metal, including the tightening knobs, mainly aluminum and very thick. It weighs 53 ounces and is built like a tank. you can insert the vertical rod upside down for prone shooting. ![]() Did not see your $30.00 requirement, and I doubt you will find anything that is stable and will last for $30.00 THIS ONE IS $89.00 AND WILL LAST A LIFETIME. https://www.amazon.com/Opticro...Scopes/dp/B005XXZ8EWThis message has been edited. I bought a Cabelas table tri-pod that works just fine. You don't need to spend big bucks. ![]() Jim ________________________ "If you can't be a good example, then you'll have to be a horrible warning" -Catherine Aird
