I thought the ref missed some obvious fouls particularly on Hazaard towards the end of the game I think the better side did win though I was rooting for Belgium, but won’t be sad if France wins Sunday —————————————————— If the meek will inherit the earth, what will happen to us tigers? | |||

I find this reasoning crap. If it’s a foul in the group stage it’s a foul now. These aren’t aggressive play being allowed. These are obvious fouls not being called and obvious cards not being given. This isn’t Brazil or Uruguay. They aren’t flopping. These are fouls that should be called. Edit: not trying to pick a fight with you Deq. I think you’re right. I just hate that notion that the rules change based on the game situation.

Well that was a sloppy mess.... I'm getting to the point where I feel every competitive sport at the highest level is a clusterfuck of bias, errors, and missed calls.
