I had a feeling Belgium was about to score in the last minute. They had numbers and speed and just looked at that moment to be overwhelming.

I left work in time to catch most of the extra period and the penalty shootout at a local watering hole. There were two young guys from England here on summer work visas watching, too. Their level of anxiety was amazing but they went completely nuts when Dyer scored the winning penalty.

Just a microcosm of what the rest of the world is going through.
