There's some traction on the recall of these clowns. It's sad that that it had to come to this to show that these clowns are ill fit for the job. I hope Californians wake up and really think about who they are voting for. That's all...rant over. Hope you all are well!

I still believe that something is peeking out of Pandora's Box and someday it will stand loud and proud.

I hope this is realized and someone, whether rep or dem, who can place CA back onto the right path fills in. Just stop the insanity.

One can only hope that real life, when it hits, will at least temporarily distract from the rainbows and unicorns that the insane believe in.

A) it's good to see you and your family are ok, hope that all your employees are safe as well.

B) one would hope this will turn the tide on voters comprehending that party affiliation doesn't equate to ability or intelligence on behalf of the candidate.

Serria Club and many other organizations for climate change have a lot of money they make off of it.

CA voters need to look at both and remove them, hopefully the anger and removal won't stop at Bass and will extend to Sacramento..

I voted against him every time I could.

I think Bass may be toast but Newsom will survive again because it's a state wide vote.

Us hicks in flyover country can clearly see the issues in California from 1,000 to 2,000 miles away. I honestly don't think it's gotten bad enough for California to give up on their wokeness, because it's all climate changes fault! I don't think they have the political will to make the big shift. Even if they did get mad for 10 minutes and recall a few politicians, I don't think they would stay straight long enough to fix it.

In about 2 years when they realize the entire state's insurance premiums keep going up they might start to get a clue. I'm 1,400 miles away and I won't be suprised that my insurance premiums go up again due to these fires.

I don't see California politics changing. The state still has the same density of fruits and nuts it had before the wildfires, will afterward, and it will after the next shoe drops. If the smart citizens leave, the density of fruits and nuts will increase, not decrease.

It will take some super human power to resuscitate Gavin’s political career. Bass is done. Any political capital spent will be on Gavin’s behalf if at all. Only the most Maxine Waters type of brain dead Leftism is defending him now.

I have seen it change in the recent election.

CA is now ruled by commie San Francisco politics, has been for over decade. But in prior decades, Southern CA has been the force in Sacramento. But now, Frisco has voted out a previously popular leftist black woman mayor and replaced her with an unknown moderate Democrat white male who campaigned on a pro-police, tough on crime agenda, also pledging to crack down on drugs and tent cities. And also moderates have the majority in their Board of Supervisors breaking a long stand held by extreme leftists. Across the bay in Oakland, both commie mayor and commie D.A. were recalled in Nov. And commie Los Angeles DA Gascon was voted out by angry citizens wanting results in fighting crime.

No, this is not a conservative swing for the state, but the above proves that even Democrat voters are sick and tired of the shit they endured for years and are willing to make small changes in their voting patterns. And Trump received more votes (+4%) in CA this time around, and Harris received less than Biden in 2020. IMO, Newsom will not get elected to higher office and has a good chance of being recalled. And Bass is done period.

Well said.
CA isn't going to flip all of sudden, dramatic changes like what people dream-of usually result in catastrophic results. As much as I'd like to see certain politicians strung-up on a lamp pole, the reality is the pain threshold has been reached and now the pain pendulum can swing back to center. Trump's election showed the incremental gains that conservatives have made in CA, the biggest change is how the Hispanic community is finally starting to see the issues for what they are. SoCal is 50% Hispanic, many are multi-generational Californians who have achieved the American dream but, are coming around to see what liberals in the coastal & mountain communities are trying to do... and they are not in alignment.

Bass is a no brainer. LA can get it done. Newsom won’t be recalled but this should spell the end of his presidential ambitions. Imagine the TV ads showing LA in flames, tent cities, and zoned out junkies doing the fenty lean with the message that Newsom will bring that level of mismanagement to you. CA is dumb enough to send him to the Senate if he wants to challenge Padilla or Schiff. Neither has the stones or standing to go full bore negative against Newsom because they’re complicit. There’s no GOP to speak of. No bench of smart youngish mayors. Just prayers that some wealthy businessman who leans even a little bit right might be willing to fund a wing and a prayer campaign.
