A friend of mine is a rabid Northern Lights fan. She packed up and drove several hundred miles to the Mac Bridge for the show.
And... Nada. Zip. Zero. She often calls me to tell me to drive to X location to see them. I never do. When they are visible, I can see them fine from my back patio.
