GOOD DAY GENTLEMEN!

I want to have a sigforum shooting competition.

Target PDF
Print off the target on a normal letter sized piece of paper. Actual size, not fit to page, there will be a little cut off.

2 winners will be selected:
Best forum member score gets a $10 gift card to Chick-Fil-A and a corny certificate made by me
Best Family/friend score also gets a $10 gift card to Chick-Fil-A.

Rules:

  • BE SAFE - all guns are loaded, muzzle always in safe direction, finger off trigger until you're ready to fire, be sure of your target and beyond.
  • Any (traditional) pistol/revolver in any caliber (including rimfire) - Irons only ..... your AR pistol or scorpion with a brace is a no-go.
  • This is strictly based on honor and good faith. I don't expect it with y'all, but no cheating.
  • You can practice as much as you want before hand, but you can only shoot the course once.
  • Only 1 target per person, however your wife/child/husband/etc. are encouraged to compete. Just label it as such.
  • No time constraints
  • All targets must be labeled with your username, clearly photographed, and posted to count.
  • Touching the line counts to the higher score
  • Old farts (anyone over 65) gets +1 to their score because the targets are blurrier than they used to be.
  • Tie breaker will be total bulls eyes, then if needed total bulls eyes with 9's
  • I can modify the rules at anytime for any reason.
  • Warpig gets -1 point because I'm still grumpy from him buying a gun that I wanted.

Course of Fire @ 7 yards - 28 shots total
Top Target

  • Both hands - 1 shot
  • Strong hand only - 5 shots
  • Support hand only - 5 shots
  • Both hands - 3 shots
  • Brief Rest

Bottom Target

  • Both hands - 3 shots
  • Support hand only - 5 shots
  • Both hands - 3 shots
  • Strong hand only - 3 shots

Weak hand I assume.

Cool, fun idea for a game/karma. I'll enter, but I'm pretty sure I won't do very well.

If you're goin' through hell, keep on going.
Don't slow down. If you're scared don't show it.
You might get out before the devil even knows you're there.

I don’t think so. I’m trying to make it accessible as possible. So no shot timers or whatnot.

What printer settings?

I get a 1" or 1 1/16" nine ring depending on "fit" or "actual size".

All handguns, all calibers. Revolvers and centerfire are good to go. I want as many folks to compete as possible.
