Are Bluetooth mice reliable?

jhe888Are Bluetooth mice reliable?
I have always used the dongle kind, but would like to preserve the USB port, if possible.
So, are Bluetooth mice reliable and smooth?
Thanks.

IntrepidTravelerI have a Logitech MX Anywhere 2 I've used for a couple of years with good results. Even has a button on the bottom lets me pair it with up to 3 separate hosts.
Thus the metric system did not really catch on in the States, unless you count the increasing popularity of the nine-millimeter bullet.

coloradohunter44Use one on my Mac all the time. Just takes a few double A batteries every two or three months. I love it.

BigWhupI use the Apple mouse as well. I also bought some rechargeable AA's which save a lot of battery money.

bigdealYou would have to use overwhelming force to take my Logitech MX Master mouse from me. Its Bluetooth and its that good.

Haveme1or2You still use an usb port for the thumb drive type connection for the mouse.
Mine is old, it works good, better with a multi pattern pad.

V-TailWe have had some not-so-good ones in the past.
The ones that we are currently using are one Apple and one LogiTech. Both of them are excellent.

NismoIve been using bluetooth mice for maybe 8 years or so, no problems.
Started with the Logitech Revolution MX, then bought a MX Master after I wore out the Revolution.
My wife has been using 2 of the Apple Magic mice for maybe 5 years and she hasn't complained about anything yet.

RinehartI've used only Bluetooth mice for years in order to keep ports available. Greatly prefer them.
(Used on Alienware and Macbook Pro laptops and desktops).
The most reliable ones I've found are the Insignia models, although there are other good ones out there.
*Keep in mind Windows has an option to "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"- it will cause you a lot of headaches until you deselect that box. Otherwise your mouse may stop functioning after a few minutes over and over again.

.38supersigYup. Have been using mice from Apple (Mac) and Cannon (tablet) for years.
Never an issue.

I've used a bluetooth for years. Mine is a bluetooth trackball by logitech. Used it for regular use as well as when I'm recording voiceover tracks. Pretty damn precise when editing tracks, splicing in background music. No problem with bluetooth as all.

r0gueAbsolutely. Don't think twice. Logitech MX. It is the best mouse on Earth. I should probably put a few back. I adore them.

DonDraperI have an extremely old Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer Bluetooth Mouse that has worked very well since 2005 or 2006. Don't hesitate to buy one from either Microsoft or Logitech.

4x5I use a Logitech bluetooth mouse at work and hate it. On Windows 10 I am always having to go into settings to turn off and on the Bluetooth. Drives me crazy.

0-0Used to love mine, a Logitech, had better range than older radio / IR ones.
Mine operated my laptop connected to my TV. I could operate the laptop from the bed across the room.
