I have a pair of old Surefire E2L Outdoorsman lights that in there day were bright as the sun. Well, 60 or 100 lumens, I forget, really isn't much these days and doesn't blow my dress up at all when it's dark. They seem to sell on ebay for stupid money so I thought I'd sell them and buy a couple 4 bazillion lumen lights to replace them with, one lives on my nightstand and one in my wife's end table.

I love the formfactor of these lights, they have great switches, and they're momentary, on, or off, that's all I need from them. I don't need 14 different settings, black light, laser pointer or anything else they can dream up.

Not wanting to replace good Surefire lights with Chinesium I ordered a couple heads from Malkoff and couldn't be happier. I think they're 450 lumens and it's a nice floody throw which I prefer in the house. I would never had known about Malkoff if not for the forum and now I have a couple lights I'm very happy with.

Heck yeah. They make good stuff, including my daily carry flashlight.

Heck yeah. I have 20+ between the family members, the home
and the office. Daily carry and backups
are Malkoff builds and my glovebox lights are nitrolon surefire
with Malkoff drop-ins. Durable, wide voltage ranges and balanced beams. Love.

When Malkoff first came out, I updated a couple of G2's with their bezels. One of them still lives on one of my long-guns, the other remains my reliable in-room, travel light. I've been in two hotel fire alarms where everyone had to clear-out and linger outside early in the AM, it was sure handy to have as emergency stairways are a dice roll.

Updated a SUREFIRE 6P this Christmas with Malkoff drop in and tail switch. I love Gene and Cathy’s stuff.

Malkoff makes great stuff. I bought a replacement head for an old incandescent SUREFIRE 6P based on Para's recommendation. Loved it so much that I bought one of their MDC's.

The MDC HA 2AA is a two-cell Double-A flashlight. It isn't a SHTF flashlight. It's the flashlight you are going to grab every day before the SHTF type of flashlight.
