| That is a great Pix of her and the bird. Animal's just know who to trust. That bird trusts her completely. Very sad. Such a tough thing for those close to her to endure. Help each other Mars. You will need the support. I am truly sorry. Her warm smile makes it easy to see that she was a wonderful person.

Sadly, this is all true. A former coworker climbed up on a nearby parking garage last month. We watched for hours and hours as the SWAT negotiators talked to him. After about five they got him to turn around. A few more and they got him to come down. He went into the hospital for a few days and then went home. Then a few days later he killed himself. Sometimes there really just is nothing anyone can do.

| Sorry to hear of the loss Mars. Having lost a friend recently to suicide, the term you used - "gobsmacked" - is pretty much the way I felt too. Like a lighning bolt hitting you on a clear sunny day. Tell your friend that there was nothing they could have done once someone feels trapped in what must be a very very dark, painful room. My friend *was* the resource who pulled people out of their depression. He just couldn't pull himself out of his own. Sometimes it just doesn't make any sense.
