I thought the same thing. She just sunk herself. I love watching them do it.

Attica prison riots. Governor Rockefeller sent in the state troopers and the National Guard and all hell broke loose. Things changed after that.
Rockefeller was clearly a law and order guy.

Sadly she will probably win. For no reason other than there's a D by her name.

This and the people of NYS are dumb enough to vote for her.

Although horribly outnumbered, I feel bad for the long suffering “normies” stuck in that totalitarian state.

Listening to the highlights of this debate, I couldn't help lamenting that Illinois doesn't have someone like Zeldin.

Why are you so defeatist?

Have you been looking at the polling there in New York, it’s looking like they are basically in a dead heat. Which always means in reality the Republican is ahead.

What’s the point of looking at the polls?

Come election day I will vote for Zeldin.
And if he happens to win I’ll be very happy and very surprised. If not, then we got exactly what I expected. Can’t see a downside to that.

The last “Republican” governor we had gave us the assault weapon ban.

This. You want to be governor? Spend all you got to put this in front of people's faces. Actually, maybe just the subways and around the entrance to the subways on the streets.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

Just made a large donation and asked him to do exactly this. He is close. Bring it home.

Understand that those of us who choose to live in Upstate NY are at the mercy of 57% of the state’s population that occupy 3% of the state’s land mass.

That 57% ( plus a handful of the ghetto dwellers in Buffalo Rochester and Syracuse) has sadly always held the outcome of elections in NY and with it the future of the state. As a long suffering western New Yorker, I concluded the only answer was to leave. Which I did for free America 7 years ago. If every law abiding gun owner left, there would be almost no one left to pay the exorbitant Taxes

Well, Zeldin didn't exactly do it, but I just watched an ad on broadcast TV out of NY (CBS, during Blue Bloods) where they did exactly that.

With the usual disclaimers*, Zeldins hands are clean, but the ad has an impact.
