I think you are missing the point. The point isn't to give us a clue to guess the movie, but to ruin the movie for someone who hasn't seen it by revealing a "spoiler".

A spoiler is revealing some tidbit about the plot of the movie that, if known, would change the entertainment value of the movie. Some "secret" about the movie that you weren't supposed to find out until you sat through the movie.

For instance, "They kill John Wick's dog" isn't a spoiler, because that's the general premise of the movie.
