I thought it was 10 years and it was, but in 2013 in changed to they get SS protection for the rest of their lives.

Exactly my thoughts. Why the hell was he messing with his firearm? He had to have been removing it from his holster and put his finger on the trigger. Stupid. I know some people who have been hired by the SS and in my opinion should not have so I don’t think they get the best of the best.
