Does anyone use a scheduling plugin for QuickBooks? I do recurring jobs at variable intervals and am looking for a new system to replace what I currently run.

Previously, I asked about replacing Gopher software with something that does the same thing but maybe I'm going about that the wrong way. Perhaps I should be switching to QuickBooks with a scheduling plugin but it has to have the ability to set recurring jobs at the beginning of the season, show a daily schedule, have the ability to track and mark jobs completed, automatically add completed jobs to monthly invoices and track payments.

I think I need a software consultant.

It is not uncommon for different accounting software consultants to modify (customize) software for your particular business.

My first idea would be to move to a light client application (like Jobber) that has setups specifically for landscapers. Those applications also tie into QuickBooks Online.

Sorry I could not be of more help when it comes to the landscaping aspect.

I do know that tying in QuickBooks Online is much easier than trying to work with a desktop or server version of QuickBooks. But the reporting and flexibility to edit information/data in QBO is not nearly as good as the desktop version.

Evil exists. You can not negotiate with, bribe or placate evil. You're not going to be able to have it sit down with Dr. Phil for an anger management session either.

Thanks. I looked at a few cloud-based subscription apps and I think Yardbook premium may be what I'm looking for. It syncs with QBO so I'm going to have to look into learning how to use that. I appreciate the advice.

Anyone have advice on learning to properly set up and use QuickBooks Online? QBO for Dummies got one star on Amazon but only one review for 6th edition.
