Sexual orientation is a protected class, along with stuff like age, race, sex, and religion.

Profession is not, even for law enforcement. Military can be, in certain specific situations, but I don't think this qualifies.

Besides, I suspect that this is the type of gym that even if they allowed cops to join, they wouldn't. I have no desire to work out in a run-down gym alongside a bunch of thugs, felons, and scrotebags.

About 18 months ago I was a member of a Planet Fitness operation here in Manassas.

Membership was $10 per month.

Nate was coming to visit and I asked about a guest pass for him, his being in the army and all. Was told it would be TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!

Told the idiot woman to stuff it, that I was also a member of LA Fitness through our health insurance (no out of pocket cost).

Went over to the LA Fitness place, asked about a guest pass for my active army grandson. The guy just smiled and handed be about 1/2 dozen little cards. Each worth 5 days free access.

If police or veterans are not welcome I/we will not patronize that place. PERIOD

If I were the Police I'd park a patrol car in front of the place and tell the owner they're doing him a public service protecting his business from possible robbery. It would probably close in a week from the looks of it.

See, that is what I have experienced my whole life from the left. Paternal, we must take care of the poor minority, Racism! Every member of my family, for the 300-years we have been here, has seemed to manage just fine without safe zones. The morals we were taught and family expectations meant we had no fear of police. I am proud of the 17 combat veterans in my family and each one has been an honor to spend time with and I miss many of them terribly. I am proud of my family in law enforcement since the early 1800's here in my home state. I find my friends, like my family tend to be veterans and that means I can count on them. So the left views me and my family as a poor misguided minorities that just don't get it. Well so be it, but prepare yourselves for another 300-years of us.
