Went in to work the other morning and was pleased with how warm it felt at 19º, because it had been 5º the previous two mornings. We're still on the other side of it, should be around 56º tomorrow, but the drop is coming. _____________________________________________________ Sliced bread, the greatest thing since the 1911. | |||

I was in Richmond yesterday. the car was telling me it was in the 40s. crossing the rivers, they were frozen over with a little snow on top. 40s all day, and heading south, the rivers were still looking iced over. I guess a week of teens and twenties cooled the ground temps and it will take a while to thaw. TYMLL John | |||

The boss called me on Wednesday and told me told come home so the outside decorations could be taken down. It was the right call. The temps have dropped fast and the sleet is starting. 15° here, and it does suck bigly! My car was completely covered in ice when I came out of a meeting last night.... I hate ice... I was liking it yesterday when it was 50° warmer than today. Having wind gusts tonight up near 50 MPH. The snow cant even stick to the ground. It looks like a sand storm blowing. Winds straight to the South. I walked out to use a plastic out house and thought I was in a York peppermint patty commercial. | |||
