Did he call someone a name on Facebook?

It’s based on malfeasance while performing duties of a Royal nature. It’s alleged that he passed sensitive economic information to his good buddy Jeffrey Epstein who then used it as insider info on stock dealings.

It was an MI-5 that cooked up the Trump Dossier.
The Brits are not our friends.
I wouldn't trust anything coming from them.

And you'll see that in other worldly news.

I’m under no illusion that they are. Socialists through and through these days.

It would still make for interesting reading.

The monarchy is on the way out. They sacrificed Andrew to try to keep the grift going. That he’s a piece of shit made it easier and what he’s been linked to made it a no brainer. Harry is mostly set free and a sort of mutually assured destruction situation exists. The Royals are on the brink of having to actually answer why they’re on the money and why anybody should give a flying fuck about winners of the lucky sperm lottery. Word is William has issues with rage and keeping it in his pants. The media that covers them wants to keep their jobs and not tank the entire thing so they’re in quiet mode.

My understanding is the royal family operates at a small fraction of what it costs us to fund our President. In addition the money they bring from tourism more than offsets the royal family's cost. To be fair I read this back when Queen Elizabeth was in power, tourist attraction to see the group that's there now might not be so much. Or maybe it is? Lots of people like seeing fucked up shit.

Not really. As mentioned, the Sovereign Grant is not all that much. Getting rid of the monarchy would cost more than to keep them most likely based not to mention the costs of historical rights/property like the crown jewels and other historical royal properties. And you’d be wrong if you think the state could just confiscate them and say hit the road. Litigation in other former communist and western monarchies, shows otherwise. We forget that many countries have a monarchy for a reason. Even former kingdoms have some vestiges of them coupled with a ceremonial head of state (Germany and Italy for example).

Just because we prefer our Republic doesn’t mean many of our allies do.

If the monarchy would be abolished, Britain would then become nothing more than a damp country with lots of old buildings and bad food. It would be a lot like France.

At present, the desire for a “republic” (no monarchy) is still a small percentage of the population. All that could very well change as Britain changes from a native-born British populace to an unassimilated and foreign-born one. They have a lot of societal issues with their former “colonial subjects”, and could be heading to another version of their own Civil War, albeit without Cavaliers and Roundheads, but just as violent.

Epstein files: Ex-UK ambassador to U.S. Peter Mandelson arrested in London

https://www.cnbc.com/2026/02/2...elson-london-uk.html

Police in London arrested Peter Mandelson, Britain’s former ambassador to the United States, who has been under investigation for his relationship with notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Metropolitan Police said Lord Mandelson was arrested on suspicion of misconduct.

Police were known to be investigating whether Mandelson leaked market-sensitive information to Epstein when he was a government minister during the global financial crisis in 2009 and 2010.

Former Norway PM Attempts Suicide After Epstein-Linked Raid, Corruption Charges

https://www.zerohedge.com/geop...ption-charges-report

Norway's former Prime Minister Thorbjørn Jagland was hospitalized a week ago after a failed suicide attempt, days after he was charged with "gross corruption" after a police probe into his ties with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, local outlet iNyheter reports.

agland, 75, who gave Barack Obama a Nobel peace price less than nine months into his presidency, was charged on February 12 after police carried out an extensive search of his properties - including apartments in Oslo and in Risør.

According to the report, Norway's Økokrim - which investigates economic and environmental crimes - took the serious step of sending a letter to the Council of Europe requesting that Jagland's immunity be lifted. It was revoked one day before the raids took place. In the letter, Økokrim says that Jagland and his immediate family used Epstein's private apartments in Paris and New York multiple times between 2011 and 2018, and stayed at Epstein's villa in Palm Beach, Florida - with travel being likely covered by Epstein in connection with one of the stays.

Epstein also reportedly paid for travel and hotel costs for Jagland and five other adults in the Caribbean, and reportedly asked Epstein for a loan, though it's unclear whether that was actually made.

If convicted, and he doesn't successfully kill himself, Jagland faces up to a decade in prison if convicted.

In one 2018 email exchange, Epstein wrote to Jagland suggesting that "I think you might suggest to Putin, that Lavrov, can get insight on talking to me."

Jagland served as Norway's Prime Minister from 1996 to 1997, and held other prominent international roles - including Secretary General of the Council of Europe (2009-2019) and chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee.

Apparently Epstein was in bed with several top Norwegians;

Other prominently placed Norwegians are also facing new scrutiny, including Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Borge Brende, an ex-foreign minister who now runs the World Economic Forum, and Mona Juul, who this week was suspended from her role as ambassador to Jordan and quickly resigned. There has been fallout from the release of the Epstein files around the world, and though seemingly no region’s elites have been immune, Norway has been hard hit. -NYT

Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store says he supports an independent inquiry and will testify if asked about his time as a former foreign minister.

Top Columbia University Official Ousted After Epstein Ties Exposed

https://slaynews.com/news/top-...ign=daily-newsletter

The head of Columbia University’s Zuckerman Mind Brain Behavior Institute is stepping down after newly released Justice Department documents revealed his past association with convicted child predator Jeffrey Epstein.

Dr. Richard Axel, a Nobel Prize-winning scientist, announced in a Tuesday statement that he is resigning as co-director of the institute and stepping down from his role as an investigator at Columbia’s Howard Hughes Medical Institute.

“My past association with Jeffrey Epstein was a serious error in judgment, which I deeply regret,” Axel said.

“I apologize for compromising the trust of my friends, students, and colleagues.

“I recognize the problems this has caused, and I will work to restore this trust.

“What has emerged about Epstein’s appalling conduct, the harm that he has caused to so many people, makes my association with him all the more painful and inexcusable.”

Nobel Laureate’s Long Career

Axel, 79, won the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 2004 alongside another scientist for identifying genes in DNA that encode odorant receptors in the nose, according to the Nobel Foundation.

He has served as a professor at Columbia University for 53 years and said he will continue working at the brain institute and remain devoted to the university.

The Department of Justice released millions of Epstein-related documents on Jan. 30, including emails between Epstein and numerous individuals, Axel among them.

Columbia Responds

Columbia University issued a statement acknowledging Axel’s decision.

“The University has seen no evidence that Dr. Axel violated any University policy or the law,” the university said.

“However, Dr. Axel made clear that in light of this past association and the continued fallout from the release of DOJ files, he felt it appropriate to relinquish his position as co-director.

“The University agrees with this decision, while at the same time recognizing his extraordinary contributions to the University and his dedication to his colleagues, to his students, and to science.”

Axel will continue as a researcher and professor, the university confirmed.

Details from DOJ Documents

Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 to state charges of soliciting prostitution and soliciting prostitution from a minor.

He served 18 months in jail and was released in 2009.

In July 2019, he was arrested on federal child sex trafficking charges and was found dead in his jail cell the following month while awaiting trial.

The DOJ documents show that Epstein invited Axel and his wife to his private “Pedophile Island” in the Caribbean, Little St. James.

Tickets were reportedly purchased for the couple to fly to St. Thomas.

A university spokesperson told the campus newspaper that Axel and his wife never traveled to Epstein’s island.

Other correspondence revealed that Axel and Epstein met and exchanged emails over the years, including in 2017.

On April 3, 2019, Epstein emailed Axel, “Dinner?”

“Cannot tonight,” Axel replied.

“Just discharged my son from hospital. Multiple seizures.

“Remember our conversation.

“I would like to see you.

“Weekend or next week.”

FBI Computer System Hacked, Millions of Epstein Files Wiped

https://slaynews.com/news/fbi-...ign=daily-newsletter

A sworn declaration buried in the Trump administration’s recent release of millions of “Epstein Files” documents reveals that an FBI computer system hack resulted in the destruction of roughly 100 terabytes of Jeffrey Epstein-related data.

The September 2024 declaration from FBI agent Aaron Spivack states that a massive breach of the FBI’s New York Field Office (NYFO) systems on Super Bowl Sunday in 2023 led to the Bureau losing access to approximately 500 terabytes of data.

100 terabytes of this data could not be recovered and was permanently erased.

The document had reportedly received little public attention until it was highlighted by independent journalists.

“500 Terabytes of Data Was Gone”

Spivack worked for more than a decade in the FBI’s Domestic Terrorism and Child Exploitation squads, including the Violent Crimes Against Children (VCAC) unit.

He described discovering the intrusion the day after it occurred.

According to his sworn testimony, when he logged into his work computer, he “noticed it had been restarted” and saw a text file indicating part of his network had been compromised, along with an email address to contact.

After running antivirus software, Spivack learned it “identified one potential threat,” but his administrative privileges had already been removed.

He was later told the threat may have been a “booby-trap” left by a hacker.

Soon after, Spivack and the IT staff realized their main server was down and that other servers were malfunctioning.

As they combed through log files, they “noticed strange IP activity” originating from two IP addresses.

“The activity included combing through certain files pertaining to the Epstein investigation,” Spivack stated.

He later testified that “500 terabytes of data was gone as a result of the intrusion,” though he said he “was able to recover about 400 terabytes of that data.”

That left approximately 100 terabytes unrecovered, a staggering volume containing millions of files of investigative material.

No Security Officer, No Help

Spivack pointed to what he described as systemic failures within the New York Field Office.

“Until approximately February 2023, the NYFO did not have a designated Information System Security Officer (ISM),” he said.

“This is a required position, and I think it being left unfilled exacerbated many of the problems that are discussed herein.”

He also stated that after the breach, he was instructed to “Google how to recover the data” rather than receiving formal technical support.

“The OCIO Section Chief (SC), Matt Smith, was pissed because he found an email I had sent prior to the intrusion requesting assistance that no one had responded to,” Spivack revealed.

“I spoke with SC Smith, who believed this was part of systemic failures.

“We asked for help, and our requests fell on deaf ears.

“We were always referred to someone else.”

The Bureau reportedly never identified the computer responsible for the intrusion, suspecting it may have accessed the network either physically or via remote connection.

Pattern of Missing Epstein Evidence?

The revelation adds to longstanding concerns about the handling of Epstein-related evidence.

Over the years, allegations have surfaced that key files, videos, and digital records tied to Epstein’s trafficking network have been lost, destroyed, or concealed.

In 2025, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) said she was approached by an FBI whistleblower who claimed to have witnessed the destruction and tampering of Epstein documents.

Earlier releases also showed that Epstein allegedly moved a cache of evidence out of his Palm Beach home before authorities executed a 2005 search warrant.

Now, the sworn declaration from inside the FBI itself confirms that massive amounts of Epstein-related data vanished following a cyber intrusion, with tens of terabytes unrecovered.

It remains unclear what specific investigative materials were contained within the missing data, or whether any backup copies exist elsewhere.

What is clear is that, once again, the Epstein case is raising serious questions about accountability, transparency, and whether the full truth will ever be made public.

I find it hard to believe that that much data existed about Epstein.

That was my initial thought. If I recall correctly, Epstein had hidden cameras he used to capture material for blackmail. If the lost material was video, it could be that much data.
