Going to visit the area, have a few days with a rental car. Interested in good gun shops, antiques, fleamarkets, historic sites -

Irish pubs and good, smooth beer -

Suggestions?

The Boulderado Hotel is historic.

If you have a car, one of the best most scenic views around is about a 30 minute drive into the mountains... it's amazing, it's called Brainard Lake.

I'm not a pub guy, perhaps Murphys off the Diagonal at 28th Street.

One great gun store called Gunsport 1707 14th STREET.Excellent restaurants all along the Boulder Mall. Three parking garages adjacent to the Mall Sundays free parking. The people watching is spectacular. Hiking at Chataqua Park with great views of Boulder. While a liberal town it is the home of Soldier of Fortune Magazine. The views of the Flatirons are very nice. Also a walking biking trail along Boulder Creek. The Boulder Bookstore is also a must see. The University of Colorado Shakespeare Festival begins soon if that interests you. Have a wonderful trip.

Beautiful area. Be prepared for hippies to ask for your left overs once you leave a restaurant.
