Probably just screwed myself!!

Finally gave the go ahead for my iPhone SE to update to iOS 11 tonight.
Probably going to regret that in the morning.

I have an SE and have been wondering what would happen if I upgraded.

If it makes you feel any better, since iOS 11 came out, I've only had to update my phone Eight times from 11.0 to 11.2.1

I wanted to keep from updating my iOS with my iPhone 6S but when I needed to use it to transfer my data over to the iPhone X, it was recommended that I updated to iOS 11 prior to the transferring of the data. I hesitated doing so but I finally gave in. No problems whatsoever. The update went fine and the iPhone 6S worked well with the new iOS 11 with the newer features. Maybe I just got lucky!

I have 11.2 on my iPhone 6. I have a few minor dislikes about it, but functionally my phone works fine. I’m sure your update will be fine as well.

Well it did not brick so that is good.

Though it appears that spelling auto correct has become dumb.

I keep having to retype words over and over again because it thinks it is smarter than me and changes the word before I even finish typing.

Aside gets changed to assaulted, it keeps trying to capitalize the B in brick.

Wow, this is annoying. It just changed the entire sentence.

The scrolling is really weird too.

mine keeps wanting to capitalize Your in the middle of a sentence.

11 really slowed my old 6 down. The display even lagged changing music. I upgraded and all is well now. I think they plan it that way. Using software to make the hardware obsolete.

First thing I always disable on any phone or computer is all kinds of auto correction (spelling, capitalization, etc).

Are you saying you upgraded to 11 when it first came out and that slowed your 6 down, but a subsequent upgrade to a newer version of 11 fixed it?

Running iOS 11.2 on my SE. no problems

iOS 11 really screwed up MFI to my hearing aids but 11.2 got things working right again.

My 6s plus runs fine with 11. Your SE has the same chip as the 6s so it should be fine also.
